Dangerous product, DON'T install it April 8, 2010 C. Bassal (CA) Had older Norton versions on previous computers, no problems at all..got a new computer, and installed Norton 360, it was fine for few months, but then for some reason it allowed a spyware to be installed on my machine, after the mayhem and after this spyware started taking over my operating system..Norton started giving me the red warnings!!Where was it when this piece of spyware s*** got installed. Called their CS, someone from India I guess charged me $140 promising to fix everything..it took over 3 hours, they couldn't do a thing, the computer became worst then before they started..My system was a mess, I had to pay someone to reinstall windows, luckily I had a back up of most of my software and files...So in a nutshell, this product is useless, it's even dangerous because you think you are protected, but you are not,and it will cost you a lot of money and time to fix their problem... you are better off with the free "Microsoft Security essential", it's recommended by Microsoft themselves!!
THE BEST March 29, 2010 Tracy L. Palmer I have used Norton 360 for a year. I have no complaints at all. It keeps my laptop tuned up and protected and is always working on it's own to keep it that way. It's easy to use and warns me if there is a threat and fixes it with no problem. Best all in one software I know of. It also updates when needed to keep up with new threats.

Do not buy! February 2, 2010 Peter J. Williams (Wauregan, CT United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After trying Norton 3.0 on my Windows 7 computer for 2 months, I strongly recommend not to install this crap.
I have stayed away from Norton products for years. I should not of gone back.
Your computer will be plagued with a dialog box requiring you to set up a Norton account.
I chose not to set one up. So when this box appears your computer will lock up unless you
register for an account with Symantec. I have tried multiple times to remove this with Task Manager.
To no avail, the only way around it is to reboot the computer. Also, for some unknown reason the firewall and anit-virus
will intermitently stop working. A previous poster noted this problem. This will leave your computer
vulnerable to attack. Norton does not have a solution for these problems.
This program is not even worth 1 star. Microsoft Security Essentials works a lot better.
Unless you want a persistant headache and a lighter wallet, skip this crap!!!!
This Product Crashes on Windows 7 and Drops Firewall February 2, 2010 Hugh L. Scott (Breckenridge, Co USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product truly sucks. It has a tendency to crash under Windows 7 (error 8504,4) and then drops the firewall and anti-virus. This is very, very bad since it puts your computer in a wide open state, ripe for rootkit installation, drive-by downloads, worms, viruses etc. This product virtually ensures a security breach on a Windows 7 computer. Do yourself a favour and do a web search for this error code 8504,4 and look at the agony this product causes.
Update Feb 15: Still sucks. Symmantec used to provide a fine product suite. Now, they are interested only in selling more crap with constant badgering to subscribe to additional services. Thier website is useless for tech support, the solution is always to byu something. The latest, Norton 360 dies when it tries to become your online backup service after about 2 weeks.
